Windows XP Service Pack 2

Yeah! It's finally installed in my laptop computer!

Since I only have a telephone line at home, I ordered the free CD from
Microsoft. I got a response from them saying that it'd take between
four to six weeks to arrive. But the CD arrived today, just two weeks
later!

It took me about 90 minutes just to install the service pack, and then
perhaps another one hour trying to fix something that I inmediately
noticed had broken down!

It was my favorite and actually, only mouse, my optical wireless
mouse... as soon as I plugged it for the first time after installing
the service pack, I got the "Blue Screen"! And it wouldn't get fixed
even by reinstalling the device driver.

I checked the manufacturer's website, and they had a newer device
driver for my mouse, which claimed to be for SP2, but was suspiciously
dated late August. Is it really going to work?

I gave it a try anyway, and it worked like a charm (the mouse's device driver)!

Now the only thing so far I dislike about my Windows XP with Service
Pack 2 is that now my laptop computer takes much longer to start up.
I don't know, should I get more memory for my laptop?

Dumb blonde! (but I'm not talking about Ashlee Simpson)

I just saw in the news a report about the 1000th US soldier who died
in the war for oil (Iraq).

So ridiculous, at the end they interviewed a blond lady on the streets
of New York. She said that it was very sad that so many people had
died, but had America not gone to war, even more people would've died.

What? You go to this unjustified war, first saying it's to disarm
Saddam (but then no weapons are found), and then saying that actually
it was to protect the human rights of the Iraqis (then we get to see
the wonders of Abu Ghraib prison), and then you don't even bother
counting the Iraqi deaths!!!

YOU ARE REALLY DUMB, DUDE.

Fucking jerk

This guy's supposed to be here only for the morning, a couple of hours
at most. I called him for work, and I told him in advance that it was
going to be real quick.

And as promissed, it was real quick, and we were done in less than two
hours. But then, instead of leaving, he just hangs around, kind of
like waiting for the bus, or for me to serve him tea. I don't know
what the fuck is he waiting to leave.

He grabbed an old newspaper of mine (more than one month old that I
had been keeping for archival purposes), and read it very patiently,
and then left it all in disorder! Then he was talking on his mobile
many many times while I was at his side trying to get some work done.

And then on top of all that, he was even taking a nap! Actually, TWO naps!

I don't want this SOB here!!! But gotta have him just because of my
brother. There's some kind of protection or bonding, I don't know
that my brother always brings this guy onboards. What the hell???

He even puts his feet up my coffee table. Excuse me, I didn't know
this was your house?

How annoying.
