What's up with Xmas?

I'm confused I've got Xmas greetings from a lot of people who didn't bother to ask me first whether I'm Christian or not!  And definitely, many of those guys are not Christians either.  What the fuck?  I think these people are lowering Xmas to the same level as Halloween.  You don't need to believe in witches to celebrate Halloween.  Likewise, you don't need to be Christian to celebrate Xmas?  Non-sense.

I think it probably has to do with Xmas being associated to the celebration of the white people, so it's kind of posh to join the party even if you don't know or agree to the origins of the festivity.  Sad.
