This morning I was watching BBC news, and they showed a short report about the California governor's recall campaign. The current governor, Gray Davis was on his campaign to be re-elected, he was parading on a double-decker bus waving his hand and one little American flag to the well wishers on the sides of the street.
What puzzled me is that many of the guys cheering Davis were waving back at him little Mexican flags! Some of them were waving American flags, but I don't understand why would other people greet Davis with a Mexican one? What; is he promising to return California to Mexican rule?
It just doesn't make sense to me. How about greeting Bush next year in his re-election campaign with an Israeli flag? That would make more sense.
