Man, I'm so happy my brother is back in town! He came back on Thursday night, and I went to the airport to receive him.

Before that, since it'd been a national holiday, I'd spent most of the day dozing in my bed. Last week I'd had too many 'special occasions' that made me end up staying up quite late, and then the following day I'd be like a zombie. Not good. So when it became dark, my friend (who's staying with me probably until this weekend) said he'd like to go eat something special (not the cheap stuff we're eating everyday).

So out we went... We thought of going to a big shopping center not too far from my place. We wanted to eat some Japanese food. By the time we got off the train, it was about ten minutes before the shopping center would close (the restaurants inside stay open longer), but then my friend got a call on his mobile from a girl he met on the street.

Without leaving the station, he started to chat with her, and after a long time... He said can we wait for her? She's heading this way and will be here in ten minutes to join us for dinner. I said sure, thinking that I still had just enough time before the airplane would arrive.

The freaking girl took three times as long to arrive! I was mad, but tried not to show it. Why lie to such a plain question? If she's going to take 30 minutes, why not say so?

I ate superfast, which I hated to do because I was spending a lot of money on that food, and ran for the airport.

After that, it was just happiness to meet my brother again!
