Yesterday afternoon my friend and me (he's staying for a few days at my place) just went our separate ways. For the first few days, I felt kind of in the obligation to be a good host and show him around. But I think I've shown him around enough, and now he can find his way on his own.

I went to a very nice shopping center, had something to eat at Burger King, and then was browsing the books at the best English language bookstore in the city. I bought "Prey" by Michael Crichton. I started to read it last night, and it's very interesting and easy to read. I think I've never gone through the pages of a novel so fast and so absorved. This is the same guy who wrote Jurassic Park and the Andromeda Syndrome.

My friend went to check a Movie Festival. I'd seen the list of films on offer, but couldn't find anything interesting, so I wasn't willing to join him at all. He said that after the Movie Festival, he went to get a massage. He'd been talking about that so many times since he came... I don't know what's up with that. I've tried the local traditional massage, and although it felt good, I wasn't impressed. He said that he found a place where he got a very cute girl serve him. It was in a private room (as opposed to a large room with many tables), and he said that at some point the girl offered to give him a blow job in exchange of some extra tip. I think he was happy. Like I said, I'm not impressed.
