Cheated by Burger King
Yesterday on my way to get a hair cut, I saw a Burger King advertisement for a special hanburger, "double cheeseburger with mushroom sauce". In the picture it looked really yummy, with many slabs of mushroom sticking out of the bun. Oh man, I just got to try that, I love mushrooms!
So on my way back, I stopped by Burger King and ordered one of those. When I got mine and took a seat, I opened my sandwich to look inside, and disappointment, instead of the many thick slices of mushroom, I only found two or three slivers of mushroom!!! How they dare!!! I ate it anyway, and sure enough, it tasted like heaven. But just by tasting it, I would've never guessed this double cheeseburger had anything to do with mushrooms.
That was low from Burger King. This kind of advertisement reminds me though of some other dirty trick in another third world country. Once a posh department store got a fat fine for distributing catalogues that contained a picture of a sweater described as "100% cotton", and then a few pages later in the same issue of the catalogue, you see the same photograph, but this time the caption reads "100% acrylic".
